Downderry is a popular Cornish seaside village enjoying breathtaking unspoilt coastline & countryside. Good local day-to-day facilities are in abundance at Downderry with a general store, Post Office, traditional inn with lovely sea views and The Rosery Restaurant. For those who enjoy walking, the famous coastal paths provide plenty of opportunities with nearby Seaton, Whitsand Bay, The Rame Peninsula, Kingsand, Looe and a little further afield to the charming 13th Century harbour at Polperro. Next to Downderry is Seaton. Life revolves around the beach and ammenities around the beach include a Bistro, Beach Shop, Cafe & Takeaway (Open all Year), Smugglers Inn & Restaurant, Public Park & Woodland Walks. There are magnificent Coastpath Walks to the right and left of Seaton. The cliffside paths that run along Downderry afford outstanding views from Rame Head in the East right over to Looe in the West.
